SON dynamo powered rack-mount tail lights are new for 2014. These little gems are compact and super bright. Two housing colors (black or silver) and two lens colors (red or clear) are available. All models have a red LED and shine RED. Clear lenses are just a tad brighter than red lenses. The difference is primarily cosmetic. Both rack mount and seat post mount types are available. They are compatible with all 6v dynamo powered headlights made by Schmidt, B&M, Spanninga, and others. This includes the Luxos U. They are NOT compatible with Supernova head lights. They can be powered by any 6v/3w Dynamo, hub or sidewall/bottle. All necessary wiring, connectors, and mounting hardware is included for installation on standard mounts with holes 50mm on center. See related items below for adapters if needed. No reflector is incorporated with the light.
This is the brightest dynamo powered bicycle headlight at 100 lux. The new optical system produces a smoother distribution of light on the road than any other headlight. The housing is anodized aluminum and acts as the heat sink for the LED. Available in either silver anodized or black anodized finish. The IQ-X has a standlight, as well as daytime running lights. Automatic switching between daytime and nighttime modes. The Senso/Off pushbutton switch is at the back of the IQ-X, surrounded by a glowing blue ring. The IQ-X always provides the ideal headlight beam; straight ahead in daylight so that oncoming car drivers are alerted to your presence, changing over at dusk to a beam optimized for illuminating the road surface ahead, but still providing high visibility to oncoming drivers. The IQ-X ships with its own highly adjustable mount, and is compatible with other Busch & Müller headlight mounts. For most applications the included mount will work. For bikes with limited clearance under the bottom headset cup or with cantilever brakes, use either the CYO or Thorn mount listed below. The IQ-X is reversible and can be used in "upright" or "upside-down"(i.e. hanging from the mounting point, as it might be on a front rack) orientation. NOTE: Busch & Müller dynamo headlights are made to be powered by a 6 volt, 3 watt hub or sidewall dynamo. The use of Busch & Müller dynamo headlights powered by Velogical brand dynamos or other experimental generators risks damage to the headlight's electronics. Damage caused by overload through such generators is not covered by the 2 year Busch & Müller guarantee!
The Secula Plus for fender mounting is compatible with all Busch + Müller and Schmidt headlights. It does not ground to the mount like the Seculite Plus, which makes it an ideal tail light to use with the the Luxos U head light. It has a "standlight" which keeps the LEDs lit for several minutes after you stop. The Secula Plus lights use B+M's "Linetec" technology in the lens for a very bright and broad light with a large reflector. It should be mounted with the reflector in a vertical position to be most effective. This means that full coverage fenders are required in order to get enough length in the rear for proper mounting. Secula Plus lights will work with any B+M or Schmidt LED headlight. They use .6 Watts, requiring the Lumotec headlight to use a 2.4 Watt bulb if paired with a halogen headlight. Two strand wiring for the tail light is included.
Until recently, no one made a dynamo powered tail light for seat post or seat stay mounting that was compatible with Busch + Müller or Schmidt head lights. The Secula Plus for seat stay or seat post mounting solves that problem. It has a "standlight" which keeps the LEDs lit for several minutes after you stop. The Secula Plus lights use B+M's "Linetec" technology in the lens for a very bright and broad light with a large reflector. Secula Plus lights will work with any B+M or Schmidt LED headlight. They use .6 Watts, requiring the Lumotec headlight to use a 2.4 Watt bulb if paired with a halogen headlight. Two strand wiring with connectors to the headlight is included.
This new version of the BrakeTec pulsates when the brakes are applied! The Toplight Line Brake Plus senses when the bike slows under braking and glows brighter, just like the brake lights on an automobile. And it has all of the other features of the Toplight Line Plus taillight; 50mm bolt spacing, button to stop the standlight, etc. Wiring is not packaged with this light. Either LT203 or LT204 noted below will work.
Dynamo diode rear light with LineTec technology. Sleek, slim design, suitable for rear racks with 50mm bolt width. Overall width: 92mm B&M's LineTec technology creates a linear strip of light that is much wider than the actual taillight. 4 minute standlight with override. Wiring is not packaged with this light. Either LT203 or LT204 noted below will work.
The new Edelux II "raises the bar" for dynamo headlights. The beam is wider, more even, and no longer is there a dark near field area (directly in front of the bike). The beam is asymmetric (like an automotive low beam) and concentrates the light on the road where it is needed most. Glare for oncoming riders and drivers is reduced. For added safety, a stand light glows for several minutes when the rider stops. The Edelux II has a three position switch (on/senso/off). In senso mode it will automatically come on in low light (like a tunnel or deep shadows) for safety. The glass lens has a non-glare coating for maximum efficiency and durability. The housing is completely sealed against moisture. Comes with necessary wiring for headlight only. Taillight wiring not included. See Related Items. Features include: -90 lux output - SUPER BRIGHT! -Standlight -On/Off and Senso mode (3 position switch) -Can be used with, or without, a tail light. -Aluminium casing and copper heat sink for efficient dissipation of heat from the LED. -Available in black anodized, silver anodized, polished aluminium, or red anodized. -Weight: 85g.

At last! Littleford Dyna-Snap magnetic connectors are the answer to dynamo connectors that are difficult or awkward to manage. They absolutely simplify the process of connecting your hubs to your lights. Removing the front wheel to change a flat or put the bike in the car or on a roof rack can be a real pain. Welcome, Dyna-Snaps!! They pull apart with almost no effort and reconnect instantly with a self-guiding magnetic force. Do them with your eyes closed? Do them while wearing gloves? Or mittens? NO PROBLEM! Do them at night? In the rain? NO PROBLEM! You can even impress your riding buddies by doing them behind your back! NO PROBLEM! Dyna-snaps are available in single wire (for lights grounded through the frame) and double wire sets. There is also a single-wire reversed polarity set for tail light wiring - you will need two if you run a ground wire. They are so smart and simple it seems incredible that they haven't been available before!
In order to guarantee connector compatibility for gadget swaps (plug in either a headlight or a charger/gadget) and alternate wire routing (ie: a headlight connected with or without a wired front rack), the Dyna-Snap is now available in cross-compatible three packs. The impressive new Eyc (rhymes with "bike", of course) headlights from Busch+Müller are super compact, light, and affordable. They use the new Lumotec "IQ2" reflector technology to throw a beam that is similar to the original Schmidt eDelux light (which was state of the art for lighting just a year or so ago) at less than half the price. The asymmetrical beam puts the light on the road where it is needed, and not in the eyes on oncoming riders, pedestrians, or motorists. The Eyc is plenty bright for spirited riding on dark roads. Two models are available: - The Eyc N Plus has a simple on/off switch and a stand light that shines when you stop (like at a stop light). It glows for several minutes and is a significant safety feature. - The Eyc T Senso Plus is the more expensive model which has an on/off switch with an incorporated light level sensor and daytime running lights. When it is "on" in bright light, LED's glow to make you more visible (think "be seen" lights). When the light level is low, the main LED automatically comes on for greater illumination for navigating ("to see" lighting).
New for 2013, Busch + Müller has a new CYO Premium series with a brighter and broader beam than the previous models. In addition to upgraded optics, the new light has an improved 2-positon Off/Senso switch. When off, it's off. In Senso mode during daylight, the LED running lights are on. In Senso mode at night, the daytime LED's dim and the main light illuminates the road. Near field illumination is much improved over the previous model as well. A 70cm wire for the dynamo connection is hard-wired to the light. Pig-tail connectors and wiring for an optional tail light are also included.
80 lux output
Includes fork crown mount bracket and wire cover
Lens has built-in reflector
If you need 4.8mm female spade connectors for a Schmidt hub we will include them at no charge. Mention it at checkout.
New for 2018. The IQ-XS has similar styling to the IQ-X with a machined and anodized aluminum housing. Available in either black or silver anodized finishes. It has daytime running light, and automatically switches between daytime and nighttime modes. 70 lux. New for 2013, the Luxos headlights have a new optical system, IQ2, which provides an even wider beam than the IQ system, and it's brighter too, at 70 or 90 lux. Luxos lights also have B+M's "Licht 24" system of daytime running lights. The Luxos U is the "deluxe" version. It has innovative new technology that senses rider speed and adjusts light output accordingly, always providing an optimal beam pattern for a given speed. No other light available that is this "intelligent". The Luxos U incorporates a handlebar mounted switch incorporating a USB outlet for charging USB devices. It also has a cache battery for those devices that might switch off if the dynamo's voltage drops, like when standing at a stop light. Luxos U Features:
90 Lux (brightness of the beam at a standard distance)
Handlebar mounted switch with USB charge port
Licht 24 - Daytime Running Lights
Automatic Sensor Switching
Cable Conduit for mount
Torx T20 fixing bolt for mount (includes T20 wrench)
Wiring for the headlight to the hub is included. Tail light wiring is not. See related items below.
